The Men’s Awareness Project

for the

Prevention of Violence and Addiction

Mens Awareness Project

OUR MOTTO

“Sustemas Libertas Masculas”

(We are a community of free men worthy of manhood)

Free of our destructive living patterns,

we are devoted to the integrity of the family,

and strive each day to become positive

role models and leaders as men worthy of manhood.

Bench Mark # One – My History

Where have I been?
We stand on the shoulders of men who have gone before us. This knowledge opens us up to the wisdom of the past.
When in my life have I been disorientated and lost?
How do i get back on track?

Bench Mark # Two – My Present

Where am I going now?
Participation in MAP can help identify areas of caution on the road of life.
These markers can be the starting point for new direction and awareness.

Bench Mark # Three – My Future

What type of man do I want to be?
How deep is my well of inner strength?
What is at my center that defines me?
Is my past, present and future meaningful?

“MAP helps men to look at two important wounds which we have inherited. Violence and addiction.”
